On Thursday 8th December at 7:30pm the launch of Professor Brian Walker’s new book ‘A History of St. George’s’ will take place in the Parish Hall. He has been working hard on this over recent years and it promises to be an interesting and informative read. He has brought the keen eye and scholarship of a professional historian to the task and uncovered many gems and forgotten aspects of St. George’s history. The book is sumptuously illustrated with many colour plates and will make, not only an excellent read but also, a wonderful Christmas present for family and friends.
