Welcome to the homepage of the Parish of St. George a diverse, inclusive and vibrant community of Christians in Belfast city centre. We worship according to the best ‘High Church’ traditions of the Church of Ireland and the Anglican Communion, with excellent choral music and formal liturgy. We are a community of deep faith, with worship of almighty God conducted in our church every single day. We are an open community, welcoming people of different backgrounds and different opinions, and we welcome those who are questioning and seeking as warmly as those who are convinced Anglican Christians.
Our two main Sunday services are the Choral Eucharist at 11 a.m. and Choral Evensong at 5 p.m. Full details of all our services are available on this website along with information about our life as a parish, our choir, our history, our many communities, our Sunday Club, and much more.
We shall be celebrating our bicentenary over the next few years. Please let us know how you can help celebrate 200 years of St. George’s and make this period one of shared growth in the Risen Christ.
