Welcome to the Parish of St. George a diverse, inclusive and vibrant community of Christians in Belfast city centre. We worship according to the best ‘High Church’ traditions of the Church of Ireland and the Anglican Communion, with excellent choral music and formal liturgy. We are a community of deep faith, with worship of almighty God conducted in our church every single day. We are an open community, welcoming people of different backgrounds and different opinions, and we welcome those who are questioning and seeking as warmly as those who are convinced Anglican Christians.
This year St Georges will be supporting four charities in the Christmas period, Christian Aid, Storehouse, the Simon Community and the Belfast Charitable Society, and some collections will be made at some of the Christmas services.
We also have a just giving page (don’t be confused by the name on the link, our sexton Ken set up his page to raise money for the Taiaro Project through the Church)
You can also donate by text, and the details are also on the page.
Please give generously to these four very worthwhile charities supporting some of the most vulnerable in our society
