The Leicester University Chamber Choir will perform a concert at St George’s this coming Tuesday, June 12th at 6pm. Enjoy a feast of secular and sacred choral music, with works by Holst, Saint-Saens, Whitacre and Lauridsen. Free entry with a retiring collection. All welcome.

Disastrous Woman, The Importance of Cooperation in Crisis Situations
There are several events taking place at St George’s in June. The first is a talk by Dr Marion Gibson entitled ‘Disastrous Woman’, The Importance Cooperation in Crisis Situations, on Wednesday, June 6th at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall. Dr Gibson is well known for her work in caring for psychological trauma people worldwide. This meeting will be hosted jointly by St George’s and the United Nations Association NI and you are all welcome to come and bring friends. Further details attached.

Parish Choir on BBC Radio Ulster’s ‘Sing Out’
Did you hear our Parish Choir on BBC Radio Ulster’s ‘Sing Out’ featuring interviews with trebles and gentlemen as well as some good background music?
The choir of St George’s maintain the age-old and beautiful musical tradition of the Anglican Church with boys and men choristers.

Annual Belfast IDAHOT Service
A reminder that the Annual Belfast IDAHOT service takes place on Sunday 20th May at 5pm in St Georges Parish Church, High St, Belfast. The preacher will be Rt Rev’d Trevor Williams – former Bishop of Limerick and music will be by the St Georges Chamber Choir. All welcome.

Award-winning choir Cantemus to guest at St George’s
We are delighted to welcome Cantemus as our guest Choir this Sunday 8th April. They will sing both the Eucharist at 11am and Evensong at 5pm. The setting at 11am will be Sumsion in F and the Anthem – To Thee O Lord by Rachmaninov.
