SERVER'S GUILD

We need a few more people to act as servers at the 11.00am clock services on Sundays and on a few other special occasions in the year. Servers are an important part of the worship in St George's and bring an extra degree of dignity and solemnity to the services. You do not have to be a liturgical expert, a willingness to help in the service is all that is required. I would be glad to hear from anyone of any age who could carry a candle standard or hold a book. We particularly would like to recruit a few more female servers as we have none at present. The task is very simple and training will be given. It usually involves only one Sunday on duty every 3 or 4 weeks.

SUNDAY CLUB

We also need to recruit a couple of teachers for the Sunday Club. The Sunday Club teachers operate on a rota basis which means taking a class about once a month. Please speak to Carolyn Rhodes if you think you could help us with this important work.
