PORTICO PRELUDES: A TRIBUTE TO DAVID MCELDERRY

A glorious tribute to David McElderry and the launch of the Portico Preludes will take place in early December, both as a livestream and and in person event.
In memory of David, who built Portico’s magnificent organ, and with the support of the ACNI and ANDBC, Portico has commissioned 10 chorale preludes for organ from 10 of Ulster’s leading musicians.
During this event, Dr Joe McKee will pay tribute to the enormous contribution that David made to the world of organ building and music.

Parishioner Parking

The workmen have revised their plans for the completion of their work at St George’s. The car park will, therefore, be open again to parishioners from this coming Monday (27th September).
Thank you for your cooperation last week with the car park.

Churchyard Parking: September 20th – 24th

Dear Parishioners

It is with regret that we have to ask St George’s parishioners NOT TO PARK in St George’s Churchyard during next week, September 20th – 24th as remedial work is being done to the north and south outside walls of the church. Parked cars will unfortunately obstruct the heavy machinery used in the work and be at risk of damage.
